Enlighten Group spanning IT, Education, Travel, and Hospitality is hiring a responsible, organized, and people-oriented HR / Admin Officer to support our human resource and administrative functions in Bagbazar, Kathmandu.

About the HR Admin Officer Role

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will assist with employee coordination, recruitment, documentation, attendance management, communication, and day-to-day office administration. You'll bring strong interpersonal skills, understand both employee and organizational needs, and handle workplace matters professionally and diplomatically.

Key Responsibilities of the HR Admin Officer

Recruitment and Employee Coordination

  1. Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and candidate follow-ups
  2. Support employee onboarding and orientation processes
  3. Coordinate with employees on attendance, leave, schedules, company policies, and other HR-related matters

HR Documentation and Reporting

  1. Maintain and regularly update employee records, HR files, attendance records, leave records, and other relevant documentation
  2. Prepare appointment letters, employment-related documents, notices, reports, and HR correspondence
  3. Prepare basic HR reports, attendance reports, staff records, and other administrative documents

Office Administration and Internal Coordination

  1. Handle daily office administration and internal coordination activities
  2. Coordinate internal meetings, employee activities, training programs, and organizational activities as required
  3. Manage office supplies, facilities, equipment, and other administrative requirements
  4. Coordinate with external parties, vendors, and service providers whenever required

Policy Implementation and Communication

  1. Assist management in implementing and communicating company policies, procedures, and workplace guidelines
  2. Communicate with employees and different departments to address routine workplace concerns and issues
  3. Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and company information
  4. Take on other HR and administrative responsibilities as management assigns

Who We're Looking For in Our Next HR Officer

Requirements for This Admin Officer Job in Kathmandu

  1. A bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, or a master's degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
  2. Previous experience in HR, administration, or a similar role (preferred)
  3. Solid understanding of basic HR and administrative practices
  4. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  5. Strong written and verbal communication skills
  6. Strong interpersonal, listening, and coordination abilities
  7. Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
  8. The ability to communicate professionally with employees, management, candidates, and external stakeholders
  9. The ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  10. Strong organizational and time-management skills
  11. The ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines
  12. Strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills

  1. Knowledge of recruitment and employee selection procedures
  2. A basic understanding of Nepalese labor laws and workplace policies
  3. Experience managing attendance, leave, employee records, and HR documentation
  4. Basic knowledge of payroll and employee benefits administration
  5. Familiarity with HR software, attendance systems, and office management tools
  6. Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills
  7. Good presentation and public-speaking skills
  8. The ability to handle employees and stakeholders professionally, respectfully, and diplomatically
  9. A proactive approach and a willingness to learn and take responsibility
